Jumbo mug | blender or milk frother | Earl Grey tea | edible lavender | brown sugar | vanilla extract It was so good, it even brought a little bit of sunshine … and I was able to take some photos for you!:) SHOP THIS POST ♥ It’s incredibly intense and fragrant, nothing like I ever tasted before. The taste is totally surprising! In the most amazing and delicious kind of way :) Last week I’ve learned how to make an animated GIF in Photoshop, just check this cool tutorial if you want to try it yourself :) You could also use a milk frother, but ever since I’ve had this amazing blender, it kind of did the jobs of many other kitchen gadgets. ![]() ![]() Of course I couldn’t have done it without my blender Optimum 9200A from Froothie (the one with super powers), who turned everything into a creamy and frothy comforting delight. So this Earl Grey Tea Latte (London Fog) was my choice for one cold winter day. You already know how much I love lavender and how I love to use it all around our home, in so many different ways ( dried lavender flowers as a natural diffuser for essential oils, DIY beauty products, scented candles or scented clay hearts, scented eggshell candles for Easter etc.) I had some dried lavender buds from our garden from last summer and I couldn’t wait to give this recipe a try. Truth be told, everything that has ‘latte’ in it kind of intrigues me…Īnd when I discovered that you can also add lavender to this Earl Grey Tea Latte (London Fog), now heavenly mixture, I knew I had to open my box as soon as possible!Īnd yes, lavender is the secret ingredient I’m adding to this amazing latte! :) One that will also add a French twist to the whole concept and will make it even more fragrant and savory. I’m always curious about trying new things and this recipe somehow caught my eye. It contains a large quantity of potassium that will keep us hydrated (unlike coffee that dehydrates the body). It can boost energy levels and even fight stress, anxiety and depression. As I found online, Earl Grey Tea is rich in antioxidants so it can help fight cancer or other diseases. It aids digestion and it can help you loose weight. Because of its distinctive scent, the Earl Grey Tea is perfect for using in cakes and other yummy recipes, but it also has many benefits for our health. My beautiful box of Earl Grey only had black leaf tea scented with bergamot, but this type of tea usually contains a blend of different varieties. Bergamot is a fragrant citrus fruit that has the color of lemon/lime but it has the shape of an orange. Why? Because I really loved its package :) I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true! It had a beautiful vintage-ish box that looked almost too pretty to be opened and a silver plated infuser that I absolutely adored!įor those of you who don’t know, what makes the Earl Grey Tea so amazing is the bergamot oil that is used to flavor this tea to perfection. I had this bag of Whittard Chelsea – Earl Grey Tea that some of our friends brought to us from London a while ago, that sat on one of our shelves in the kitchen. This Earl Grey Tea Latte aka London Fog was a life saver! And lots and lots of hot drinks … just to make sure I would survive this winter in one piece. This type of weather kind of gets me down and beside working, I had to fill my time with things I really love. The temperatures dropped way too much for my tastes and we barely see any sun rays for weeks. Be prepared to be amazed, one secret ingredient will get you completely hooked! :)Įven though I normally love winter, this (almost) soon to be over season was definitely not my friend. Ever wanted to try making an Earl Grey Tea Latte (London Fog) at home? You will only need a few ingredients and a blender to make the most delicious latte EVER. ![]()
